January 10-12, 2010 - The 2010 Caribbean Marketplace, sponsored by CHTA, will be held in Puerto Rico in January. Registration For Caribbean Marketplace 2010 is now open. Caribbean Marketplace is the requisite business-to-business marketing event for the Caribbean hotel and tourism industry to meet, network, negotiate, and conduct business with buyers from around the world. May 9-12, 2010 - Annual Caribbean Conference on Sustainable Tourism, sponsored by the Caribbean Tourism Organization, will be held in Bridgetown, Barbados. The Caribbean Conference on Sustainable Tourism is part of the information dissemination and regional awareness component of CTO's Strategy For Sustainable Tourism and offers a forum for information exchange on regional and international sustainable tourism initiatives.

September 9-13, 2010 - Taste of the Caribbean, organized by the Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association, will be held in September in Puerto Rico. The Taste of the Caribbean Competition is the premier Culinary Competition in the Caribbean. Last year 13 island nations (Anguilla, Angtigua, Barbados, BVI, Curacao, Puerto Rico, St. Maarten, Suriname, Grenada, Jamaica, St Lucia, Trinidad & Tobago and USVI) competed and Anguilla walked away with the TEAM GOLD and Anguilla Chef Glendon Carty was voted the Caribbean's Top Chef. 

October, 2010 - Small Hotels Retreat, sponsored by the Caribbean Tourism Organization, is developed by small hoteliers for hoteliers, and focuses on marketing skills, technology, and human resource development.

January 16-18, 2011 - The 2011 Caribbean Marketplace, sponsored by CHTA, will be held in Jamaica in January. In 2010, the Caribbean Marketplace had an attendance of 1,362 delegates, 402 booths and 11,7742 pre-scheduled appointments.
